"Ours is not a system based upon trust, but one of suspicion!" Thomas Jefferson
This is the most simple and important quote by a Founding Father for our time..
It addresses and identifies the separation of powers designed by our Founders in order to off set the "eternal abuses" of government all government due the human nature as they understood it..all too well..
My title is the title of a blog I did on Edwards.com under their Argument and Analysis section and wanted to post the same thing here..
It asks among other things the involvement of the Federalist Society in the current forced resignations or firings of 8 Federal Prosecutors and if those who replaced these otherwise fine if not brilliant attorneys are themselves members of the Federalist Society..
This is my first attempt to Blog here and there may be changes..
The designs you'll see below are mine and also done with Robert Allan Shear, I call them Stars4Peace..there are many variations others which I may share hopefully in the future..
When you are confronted by anyone who questions your loyalty to this great nation remember and use Thomas Jefferson's great quote, that explains:
"Ours is not a system based upon trust, but one of suspicion..!"
Thanks and God Bless..
TJ Peace..
TJ, Congratulations on the new blog! Looks great, and your designs of American peace flags are beautiful. I could swear I saw one on television carried by Americans at an antiwar demo in Italy recently but it passed the screen too fast to be sure.
Soon they will be all over the world!
This blog is a real contribution to needed debate to save the American republic (see Chalmers Johnson's new book on how it is in danger). I would suggest that you post a comment explaining what the Federalist Society is, how they started, who are members etc. I think a lot of Americans and people around the world haven't heard of them yet. They don't like the spotlight much do they?
